Bar and Plate Coolers

This design is an all braze construction without header plates. Construction is made up of a series of bars and plates stacked up one on top of another. The design is very rugged. This product design is widely used in industrial applications.

Shell Coolers

This design is an all braze construction without header plates. A series of shells are stacked forming the internal passages along with the header. The design is an alternative to the Bar and Plate design. Pressures and temperatures are lower for this design compared to the Bar and Plate.

Tube Header Coolers

This design is an all braze construction requiring header plates for the tube joint. This type of construction makes a lighter cooler, however, pressure and temperatures are greatly reduced in this design. Tubes are extruded with and internal profile.

Radiators

This design is an all brazed construction requiring header plates. The biggest difference in this design is the flat oval tube used for cooling passages. Manifold construction can be plastic to reduce cost.
